Real Madrid wins UCL and becomes the first team to defend it though Sergio Ramos needs to lift his sportsman personality


It was a great night for the Madridistas as they saw their team Real Madrid lift the Champions League trophy for the second consecutive year as they crushed the Italian Champions Juventus 4-1.
The scoreline was not a fair reflection of the game as the game was more competitive and it was anyone's game till the time when Real Madrid kept on widening the lead.

We know that big players score in big games and that has happened as the best player in the world,Cristiano Ronaldo gave the Spanish giants the lead in the 20th minute after his first strike on goal. Mario Mandzukic score the equaliser after 7 minutes with a wonderful scissor kick.A debate has started for the best goal in the Champions League Final as this goal is being compared to the famous perfect volley of Zinedine Zidane who was also present on the field managing the Madrid side.

It ended 1-1 in the half-time and the game was on but just after 14 minutes Casemiro's spectacular shot earned him the goal, this was a huge goal for the team and the second spectacular goal for Casemiro in this year's Champions League. Cristiano Ronaldo's second shot earned him his second goal just after three minutes which took the scoreline to 3-1.


At this point it was becoming clear who was going to lift the title but a very bad thing occurred in the last 10 minutes when Sergio Ramos acted as if Cuadrado has pushed him which got the poor man a second yellow and had to leave the match.Such incidents throw a very bad light on big players like Ramos but unfortunately he is not the only one. Actions should be taken against such simulations. Asensio came on as a substitute and proved to be one of the most aspiring players as he finished the game off in style after scoring the 4th goal.

This was a crushing defeat for Juventus and the side who had proved to have the best defence in the competition fell apart by conceding 4 goals in the last 90 minutes of the competition.
Gianluigi Buffon have lost in chance for the third time to win the Champions League and this chance might be the last for him.


This win for Real Madrid made them the first team to win the UCL consecutively and now they will play Manchester United in the UEFA Super Cup on 8th August at Phillip II Arena,Skopje,Macedonia.
