Manchester United keen to sign the French youngster for $100M!



Jose Mourinho's side Manchester United is reportedly keen to sign the French youngster, Kylian Mbappe from AS Monaco after their previous target Antoine Griezmann decided to stay in Athletico Madrid.


The 18 year old has been performing tremendous this season and has helped his side win the French League (Ligue 1) this season. He has scored 15 goals and 8 assists in just 17 appearances and his talent came in front of the world as he scored 6 goals in 6 appearances in the Champions League against big sides like Borussia Dortmund and Juventus. This talent is commendable and his performance has been superb thus to get him from Monaco would cost United around $100M though its not clear if Mbappe moves to Manchester United due to Real Madrid's high interest on him.


He is also wanted by Arsene Wenger as he is looking for a replacement for Alexis Sanchez who will most probably leave next season. Though, it would be unlikely for Mbappe to join Arsenal as they are not in the Champions League next season and have little prospects of winning the Europa League.Arsenal's $87M bid last week got already rejected by the French side.

It would be interesting to see what happens to Mbappe's future! Certainly he is one of the biggest emerging players in the world.

According to the recent reports of the Spanish newspaper Marca, Manchester United have made significant progress to buy the Brazilian international. The 23 year old has played 53 games this season for AS Monaco and has been immense in the backline.
